Welcome Gregg Huffman to the Burleson Plumbing & Heating Team!

We are excited to announce that Gregg Huffman has joined the Burleson Plumbing & Heating family, where he will be working with our Sales Counter team to provide excellent service to our customers.

Gregg brings a wealth of experience to the team. He is a generational owner of Tri-County Builders Supply, a family-owned business founded in 1970. For over 49 years, Tri-County Builders Supply has been a staple in Mitchell County, NC, serving the community with hardware, plumbing and electrical supplies, Glidden paint, tools, lumber, stain, and more. Their legacy of service and dedication to the community has made a lasting impact.

Unfortunately, when Hurricane Helene hit, Tri-County Builders Supply suffered tremendous losses, and the future of the business became uncertain. Gregg and his family shared a heartfelt message on Facebook, expressing the devastation they faced but also their faith and optimism for recovery. They said:

"Family, friends, and valued customers,
First, Gregg and Pam and Robert's family are safe. We have talked to many of you who are as well, and we praise the Lord for that! Words fail as we try to describe this devastation we are experiencing in our county.
As you can imagine, our business has suffered a tremendous loss and damage. It is uncertain what the future holds, or if it's recoverable.
Our mountains still stand tall, as does our people, and together as a community we can recover and build back better. We love you all, if we can help in our limited capacity, please reach out.

During this challenging time, Gregg and his neighbor (and now coworker) Adam Burleson checked in on each other. What started as mutual support soon turned into discussions about a new opportunity. After much prayer and consideration with his wife Pam, Gregg knew that joining Burleson Plumbing & Heating was the right next step for him. We are incredibly excited to welcome him to the team.
