Though I don’t remember everyone’s name, Dennis Grindstaff, Richard Powell, Tim Greene, Michael Buchanan and any number of other folks in the store have been a big help over the years! Richard Powell went out of his way to clear our plumbing problem, so our guests would be comfortable. He was courteous, worked clean and was conscientious even though it was close to quitting time. Dennis is a gem of a fellow who seemingly can fix anything. He is as reliable as they come and such a nice person. Tim Greene has helped me figure out so many pesky, small problems I couldn’t begin to count! Michael Buchanan took me seriously and worked to address a hard to reproduce noisy air conditioner problem that other folks would have ignored or been patronizing about.
Now when Burleson’s comes up in conversation with friends or acquaintances I hear things like, “”they’re so expensive”” or “”you paid too much”” and while I don’t think they are any more expensive than any other place, I will say you can’t put a price tag on reliability and folks understanding you are trying to run a hospitality business.
